CBF Balducci HR flies again in A1 League! On April 23, the Arancionere conquered the PalaRescifina in Messina, beating Akademia Sant’Anna 3-1 in Game 2 of the Final and are returning to the top league after two seasons in A2. Trailing 1-0, the Arancionere come out with a game of great sacrifice and determination: they won the second set with an improving performance, the final part of the third set was decisive, where the Macerata team, trailing 23-22, won the 23-22 with three decisive plays, and then crowned their A1 dream in the fourth set. Enthusiasm was also sky-high at Fontescodella in Macerata, where hundreds of Arancionere fans followed the game on the specially set up big screen. The MVP of the Playoff Final was the director Asia Bonelli, with the 11 Arancionere blocks being decisive, with Decortes (17), Battista (16) and Bulaich (12) scoring in double figures. Diop’s 21 and Rossetto’s 20 are not enough for Messina.
