We have recently updated, with the assistance of a certified laboratory, the test for Resistance to Repeated Traction and Limit of Useful Extension on our elastic ribbon for shoes article E/3. The test results demonstrate the good quality of this product for the application in the footwear industry and its durability after repeated daily use on Chelsea boots, sneakers, sandals and loafers. Test Method: UNI EN ISO 10765:2010 – Determination of the percentage useful extension.
Conditioning: 23 +/- 1 °C 50 +/- 3 % R.H.
Ageing temperature: 70 ± 1 °C
Duration of the test: 168 hours
Results: Percentage useful extension = 120%
Test Method: UNI EN ISO 10768:2010 – Determination of resistance to repeated extension
Conditioning and test atmosphere: 23 +/- 1 °C 50 +/- 3 % R.H.
Results: At the end of the test the elastic does not show any damage
Test Method: UNI EN ISO 10768:2010 – Determination of resistance to repeated extension after thermical ageing.
Conditioning: 23 +/- 1 °C 50 +/- 3 % R.H.
